About this Witch

WELCOME!

I am a Witch.

My real name is Jessica Gereshenski, but I also go by LoneWolf in the craft.  I try to live each and every day like there might not be a tomorrow.  I can be down to earth, though I can goof off just like everyone else.   I'm just like any other woman- I can PMS, bitch, and complain.   But my goal is to make others smile and laugh whenever I can.

I have always been spiritual, but never really sought any path.   I am trying to learn as much about Wicca/Witchcraft as I can.  This involves a lot of reading and studying.  I expect I will probably study this religion (and probably some others) for all my life.  I have my own personal library on this subject which my friends and family view as weird.  I would absolutely love to learn more about how others practice.

Since a young age I was interested in witchcraft (which freaked my parents out).  I started reading up on the psychic mind and after a good couple months, got my first Tarot deck.  I remember it like it was yesterday (not really, my memory sucks!), studying my Tarot book in tenth grade, in 2004.  It was Art class and my crush told me it was evil.  Even back then, I knew.  Tarot was a tool, never good and never evil.  I remember in several classes I had even done presentation on the use of Tarot as an aid.  Some classmates thought it was cool; others asked if I was scared of going to Hell.

Booties as a dragon for Halloween.

Basically I started with divination, and have worked my way throughout the different views and beliefs until I settled on following an eclectic path crossed of New Age Wicca and Traditional Paganism. Of course this is still changing as I am reading more views and information on the wide range of this topic.  I am always eating up new information, recording all that I can in my Book of Mirrors.

Thing 1 and Thing 2
I currently live with my roommates Pat Zapf and Rob Bruce.  They are two of my best friends.  Pattie and I have been friends since elementary school, which means we have been friends for over half of our lives, about 16 years.  She and Rob have been dating for 6 years come June 7th, 2012.  We own a kennel, which is one our property, called Rippling Run Kennel and Cattery.  I am the Kennel Manager, putting all my blood, sweat and tears into the place.  I have two cats, Booties and Bear.  They are bad bad kitties, but I love them.
Then there are the doggies.  Orion, Diamond, Nova and Corona.  All four are Australian Shepherds.  Orion is the oldest, neutered because of a bad bite and epilepsy.  Diamond is next in line, though she is still as energetic as she was when she was a pup.  Then Corona, and Nova, to the left, is Pat's favorite.  Also answers to Bubba and Stupid, he is not the brightest out of the bunch.  She takes her showing and breeding program serious, and she will always pick her dogs over Rob and me.  No harsh feelings, really.  "If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man." Mark Twain.  Pattie also two horses, Ransom, a Tennessee Walker horse gilding, and Toshi, a warm blood (whatever that means).

Left to Right:  Dad, me, Mom, Anthony, and Josh
I have a close family that loves getting together to celebrate anything.  I have a younger brother, Josh who may or may not drive me crazy.  He currently is living with his friend Jordan in Missouri.  My mom and dad are still together, happily if I might add (though my dad may object).  Both my parents and my brother smoke, but I don't.  Thankfully.  Unfortunately, my mom has heart disease and an autoimmune disease called Lupus.  She has a mess load of other problems and she takes over 20 pills a day just to get by.  Her motto has become "one day at a time to get through it all," and I have taken a liking to it.  My family history of health isn't a pretty picture, but I do what I can to take care of myself.  Or rather, I enlist Pattie's help is getting me on a diet.

This is Vince.  Vince is my Boyfriend.  Vince makes me happy.

Vince is my boyfriend.  We started dating July 11th, 2011, and I am amazed at how much we have in common and how much we get along.
